A Milestone for THELMA: Educational Material Officially Released!!! (English version)
Respost from @GenTIC (updated)
🌐 The number of Femtech apps and platforms is growing rapidly. As part of the digital health sector, many of these apps collect, analyse, and monetize highly sensitive personal data. 📲
In the #THELMA project, Gender and ICT (GenTIC) researcher Luana Mathias Souto has explored the privacy risks associated with sharing intimate data through these apps and created a guide to help users understand how their data may be used, including recommendations for protecting their privacy.
💭 This guide was co-created with international experts from academia, industry, and non-profit associations: Francesca Antifora and Joana Moreira from Ius Omnibus; Marion "Moossye" Coville, Gabrielle Lavenir, and Romane Monjauze from Université de Poitiers, ANR Menstru Tech; Julia Suderow, Clara Fernandez Lopez, and Laura San José Fernández from Suderow Fernández Abogadas; and Jessica Holl from Universität Erfurt and Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.
