THELMA in the 2026 edition of #científiques

#científiques is an initiative held in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (February 11). It brings together female scientists from public and private institutions across Catalonia to deliver engaging, educational talks at schools throughout the region. Since its launch in 2019, the program has been jointly organized by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI) and the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), with support from the Government of Catalonia.

As part of the 2026 edition and within the framework of THELMA’s activities, a session on data protection will be presented to first-year secondary school students at a participating Catalan educational center.
